My Name Is Ice

Dear humans,                                                       

I'm Ice.

Ive been with my humans for 35 dog years. That is quite a long time.  I love this family, especially Migz. Frankly, he doesn't do me any favors. He does not even give me baths. It's always the maid. We have plenty of human help. They always feed me and give me my bath. Migz, would only look at me and laugh a lot whenever I do some of my dog thing. I like that.

Lately, I got lost. I often sneak out of the gate whenever my human mommy open it in the morning. I would run away quickly and ignore her when she calls me. See, it's really boring here in our house. I don't have a girlfriend yet. I have made many friends in our street, but its really girl dogs that I am looking for.  But I digressed.

The week I got lost, I was so confused. I was only excited to find that girl that visited me in our house. So I trotted along, tracing her sweet smelling urine. Before I knew it, i was too far away from home and can't find my way back. My human mommy would always remind me to be wary of strangers. So I kept away from them because I was really scared.

I lost count of days. I was so desperate to go home because I haven't eaten nor had any drink. I just drank from canals and that was awful. I just kept re-tracing my steps, until one day...voila! I was at our gate. Oh, boy! Was I glad. Boy oh boy! I need my sofa badly. I forgot to eat, I just lay down my sofa and slept the whole day. I missed it so much.

From that moment on, I never wandered too far. I was not excited to get out of our gate again. Besides, I don't want to see my human mommy so worried and so sad. As for Migz, I really missed this boy, even if he does not give me baths. He is my boy, you see.
